Michigan Basic Driver Improvement Course Details

Overview

This course is designed to teach you safe driving strategies, defensive driving techniques, and other important traffic factors that help minimize risks associated road hazards. The goal of the course is to help you avoid and prevent future traffic violations and accidents.

The 4-hour course consists of 7 modules covering these topics:

• OWI (Operating While Intoxicated) Prevention

• Safety Equipment
• Crash Prevention Techniques
• Michigan Traffic Laws

Final Exam — Unlimited Attempts!

Once you finish the course you'll be prompted to take the final exam. The exam consists of 20 multiple choice questions, and you must score 70% or higher to pass. You'll have 3 chances to pass, and should you fail after 3 attempts, you can register for the course again at no charge. There's no limit to how many times you can take the course within your eligibility period.
