Driver education is required for adults between the ages of 18 and 24 seeking their first Texas driver license. This course is approved by the TDLR to meet your Texas driver license requirement. All you have to do is successfully complete the course and exam 100% online, and you will get a certificate to take to the DMV.
Successful completion of an approved adult driver ed course will satisfy your written DPS exam and driver ed requirement. What this means is you will not have to take a written test at the DMV when you present proof of completion of your driver ed course.
